Womens Interests Article Category

Modern society has seen many changes and reforms but when we talk about leading a man's or a woman's life our society comes out to be biased. Many a times it could be seen that if a boy gets late while reaching his home the matter is somehow fine with the parents but if the same is the case with a girl then in no time it becomes an issue.

Recently many issues of women harassment came into light where the woman has to bear the ill treatment of the convict as well as she goes through a mental trauma due to the non supportive behaviour of the society. It is absolutely true that every person should be aware of his responsibilities but sometimes when we talk about liberty in case of girls, there is a big question mark?

There could be several reasons behind this, one of them could be that while a man is considered to be synonymous to power and passion a woman is considered to be weak. Therefore she is suppressed in many ways like dowry, rape or molestation. Earlier woman used to be uneducated and man used to be the sole earner, therefore she was totally dependent on him. But now the scenario has changed. Women have become educated and self dependent so why this discrimination? In our day to day life also we encounter many incidents when a man is found to be guilty against a woman. But it is always the women who is expected to be more responsible.people find it easy to manipulate or convince a woman in name of their honour and pride. This is certainly not acceptable. We should learn to change our mindsets and move on with the present.

In this vast society it so happens that sometimes the Darwin's theory of 'The Survival of the Fittest' comes into play. A woman should realize that self dependence and self help is the best help and should stop considering herself weak.

The hidden rage towards the unequal behaviour of the society needs to be expressed. A woman has always proved herself be it responsibilities, compassion, management or any other sphere of life and she definitely has a right to live a life of honour and dignity. Today's women has learnt to be independent and now she must be given the freedom to follow her dreams. Empowerment of women would surely lead to the development of the society.
